Lawrence Lessig on Remix Culture

Lawrence Lessig gives an amazing talk on remix culture and its influence changing the way copyright laws work. Looking at the past, it's inevitable for copyright law to change to reflect new practices and it would benefit us now and not wait until the last minute.

Wow! This if fabulous. I like his emphasis on balance, and ecology of course. And the overall point about remix being culture that belongs to the people, not the copyright owners, is one that is shared widely, and is a vital one to make. That final point about living in an age of prohibitions where we are constantly working against the law is very, very sobering.
